There is one 'hint' (being an old mainframe-programmer, I interpret it that way) - it appears that all paper formats that included with the pull down menu are 'locked' in the sense that I cannot change the Paper Size for those formats in the 'Print server properties' menu - all others are availble to manipulate.

I tried the same way using a couple of other applications with image import facilites, such as Microsoft Live,, etc. The 'Paper Size' menu then becomes available, and displays a lot of (unnecessay for me) formats, but the one I defined in 'Devices and Printers' > (highlight device) > 'Print server properties' does still not appear. 'Devices and Printers' > (highlight device) > 'Start scan' > (select source=feeder from the drop down menu).Ģ. I used the most basic of all ways, I presume:ġ.

Definitely not a menu on the device - nor any specific scanner-software.
